If there is one thing the past year has taught us, it is that the US Healthcare system is not really designed to help those who need it most. That is what 23 year old Claire (Caitlin Loretta) learns when she is diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, and is repeatedly denied life saving care until a seizure puts her in a coma. Upon waking, she finds herself in an underground free health clinic run by doctors who actually seem to care!
Dr. Quinn Faulkner (Brian Affolter) took ownership of the clinic with a holistic approach to healthcare in mind, understanding that a patient is much more than their diagnosis. Despite receiving the best medical care at no financial cost, Claire senses something off with the way the clinic operates. As her stay progresses, she uncovers that the 'help' offered by the clinic is unlike anything she could imagine.
This film explores the fundamental desire for human connection and challenges what it means to help each other.
